A Serious Limerick

It is not that I think that you’re wrong,
Or positions you hold, headstrong;
But the way that you say it
May gainsay or betray it-
Nay, twist my allowance ere long.

I remember part of a clever limerick that went kind of like this:

Ta-tum, ta-ta-tum, ta-ta-something.
Ta-something, ta-ta-dum, ta-ta-ta.
Da-ta-ta-ta-ta-da,
Ta-da-da-da-da-ta,
Ta-da-tum, ta-da-something, da-da-da.

This reminds me of one of my favorite movie quotes: "No, Walter, you're not wrong...you're just an ass...!"

The Anti-Darwin said...

It pleases your worship to say so, but truly, for mine own part, if I were as much of an ass as a king, I could find it in my heart to bestow it all on your worship.
